Hello Calvary Families.
We are sorry to not be seeing the kids in person this week but wanted to pass on the link to the program that we were using for part of our time together. It would be great if you can set aside 30 minutes to watch with your kids. The link is https://www.life.church/kids/media/
You can watch ‘Loop’ for the older kids or ‘Konnect’ for the younger ones.
Hopefully we can meet back in a few weeks.

Along with the rest of the Province, the Grey Bruce region is in a shutdown phase. All public gatherings held at Calvary are being temporarily suspended until further notice. This includes:
· Sunday morning services* (including Kid’s Church)
· Prayer meetings
· Bible Studies
· Youth Group
· Seniors Group
· Community meetings held in our facilities
* There will be online messages for you each Sunday at 10:30 am on our FaceBook page and on our website.
Again, we encourage everyone to continue to care for one another – pick up the phone and see if our elderly and those with health issues are ok or if they need anything.
If you are in need, or know of someone who is, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office 519-376-4179 and leave a message.
We will be monitoring the email and phone messages and will have someone respond as soon as possible to your requests/concerns/questions.
Lord, help us stay focused on You, this Christmastime and always. Thank You for loving the whole world enough to send the greatest gift, Your Son, so we might truly have a very merry Christmas, even in a not-so-merry kind of world. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Your Calvary Elders & Board
We do have a Facebook page “Calvary EMC Owen Sound,” https://www.facebook.com/Calvary-EMC-Owen-Sound and for members a private group page “Calvary Church.” Please check us out, as we post daily with devotionals, prayer requests and updates.
We have had folks inquiring about their tithes and offerings during this time if you are not attending our services. On your computer, to the right you’ll see a link to Canada Helps (on other devices, scroll to the bottom of this page). It is an online service for our congregants to contribute their offerings. Calvary has been using this service for quite a while now. It is very secure and easy to use. Please note: Canada Helps takes a fee of 3.5%. You still get a receipt for, say, $100, but the church receives $96.50. Please see our private Facebook page Calvary Church for alternative arrangements.
